Can we use ^6.0.0 instead of ~6.0.0?

@QuentinFchx I'm no longer a maintainer of this application. And I'm not sure if Mapbox is using it internally for anything, so I recommend you create a fork for now to get things updated in the way that you need.

But I'll cc @mapbox/maps-api who may decide this is in their purview to release and who may understand if it is in active use or not.

This is no longer sufficient to install without building mapnik from source, you need to use ^6.0.0 like in JesseCrocker@66695e2 so that it uses mapnik 4 not 3.

If there are no plans to maintain this, it might be prudent to update references to it in the docs to an alternative that folks can use instead.
